Dylan is so tenacious. Sometimes that's a good thing, like when it forces me to RIG UP THE LIGHTS. (You just have to put those words in capitals. It's a requirement, in my mind.) I don't think I would have had time to put up any lights this year, because I was just so busy with stuff, if it hadn't been for Dylan's incessant hounding. Same with Christmas decorations. I was so dang sick of him bugging me about it that I went downstairs, dug out the Christmas Decorations box, brought it upstairs, opened the box, and said, "Here you go. Now will you please stop bugging me??" And he did stop bugging me, for the five minutes it took for he and Sadie to decorate.
And then he started bugging me about something else. Sigh.

Crazy how quick it takes for a kid do something that they really want to do. But ask them to do something that You as a parent wants done and it takes hours/never gets done.
