Bowling

So. A couple of weeks ago, when Beads and Spence were visiting, we all went bowling. The bowling people put up some bumpers for the kids, and then the adults had the adjoining lane without bumpers. As a result, Dylan beat everyone, including Spence! Dylan was totally talking trash to Spence the whole time - it was pretty funny: "I'm going to beat you, Moose. I'm going to beat you so bad." And he did, as it turned out. Nat got gutter balls for several frames in a row - she had a score of nine for most of the game. :) It was funny. I forgot socks (I was wearing my flip-flops that day), and they had some little socks for $1.50 there, so I got 'em. They have cute little balls on the heel:

Mom and Micah. We had to pass him around while we were taking turns:

Beads was teasing Brock about something, and he was getting ticked at her whenever she looked at him:

So then she grabbed him and hugged him, which made him even more angry:

We call Beads "Aunt Scary," because she loves to tease the kids, especially if one of our kids is in a bad mood and acting up. It's pretty funny. Here's Moose:

And a shot of Beads dancing to the music they were playing. She does this funny little dance where she wiggles her bumb:

Dad was so sweet - he didn't bowl at all; he just helped the kids. We worried that his back would hurt, from all the hunching, but he said it felt fine. Here are he and Dylan:

The kids and Dad were boogeying to the music in the bowling alley:

  1. Dude, I suck at bowling. I even rolled a granny once, and it STILL went in the gutter!

  2. When we took our kids in Az (A really long time ago) they set up bumpers and they had this neat little ramp thingy for the kids to push their ball down. It was fun to watch and it didn't take all night for the ball to get down the lane. :)

  5. I think it is so fun that you are able to do so many fun things with your family. I bet it is nice to finally live so close to them!

  6. I love the lucky bowling socks with pom-poms. Classic! We love bowling even though we are pretty terrible at it. Wii bowling is much easier and gives us an ego boost though.

  7. So cute, your dad is a good sport to help the kids out and then boogy like that in front of everyone! These pix make me miss my family so much!
