My Recovery - Done. Mainly.

You know, it was strange; once I hit the four-week post-surgery mark, to the day, I started to feel a ton better.  Just a ton.  It was like someone turning on a light switch.  I was able to clean stuff and be a little more involved with the kiddos.  Which made my mood much better.  In fact, I felt so much better emotionally that I didn't even need to pick up that bump-up to my depression meds.

A week ago was my six-week checkup, and everything looked great.  I'm not going to say everything felt great, because do gynecological checkups ever feel great?  No.  No, they don't.  Am I right, ladies?  So I got the go-ahead to start working out!! And to lift up my two-year-old again!!  He's very happy to have the lifting-up in his life again.

I went to spinning class for the first time two nights ago, and then I went again last night.  I'm just a leetle saddle-sore today!  Haha!  But it went really well, and it felt terrific to be "in the saddle" again.

Ben got me some spinning shoes for Christmas, and they were a little scrunchy in the toes, so I went today and got a size larger.  They feel perfect, and they're gorgeous:
I'm excited to give them a shot.  I've wanted spinning shoes for a couple of years now.

Anyways, I am feeling almost at 100%.  I'd say maybe 85%.  I get tired more often and have to take more "breaks" throughout the day, and every now and then I feel crampy in my abdomen, but on the whole, I feel like a whole new woman.  Thank heavens.
