Dylan likes to save his grapefruit seeds in a baggie. He thinks that he'll be able to plant them after the snow is gone, and that they'll grow into grapefruit trees. We've told him a zillion times that grapefruit trees just won't grow here, but he's convinced that they will. So he keeps gathering them.

Pete didn't believe me when I said that things like watermelon and peaches didn't grow well here, because they do in Utah. We even have a peach tree. I'll be surprised if it ever gets fruit.
I didn't know that grapefruits don't grow well her. That's funny that he still wants to try!
