So...I read your blog for help in preparing my Sunday School lessons for the youth. Today I found myself reading more, reading your recent blog entries. Just want you to know that I get you in so, so many ways. Love your honesty and authentic self. Yes, I'm a stranger who doesn't know you...but I know enough to say that this world is a better place because you're in it. Sending my prayers your way.

Wow, guys, thanks! Chickystella - I do have handouts for August through December on my hard drive that's in Oregon right now. Yikes. Bikes. I'll see if my hubby can find them and attach them to me, and then I can throw them on here.

Thanks for the lessons for rest of the year. How do I get on your old postings for the lessons? There's some stuff on there that isn't on these new ones. Thanks

Help... I was really hoping for some of your great inspiration on the lesson.... How can I use Church music to learn about the plan of salvation? I need help, object lesson, etc.

Oh, you guys, I'm so sorry. I wish I could put more ideas up on here, or find my old lesson plans that aren't on here yet and post them, but I'm in the middle of cancer treatments and so busy with all of the therapies, doctor appointments, illnesses, etc., that I just don't have the time to devote to it, but when things calm down, I promise I will. I'm just...treading water here. Sorry, sorry, sorry... :(

I stumbled upon your blog when I was searching for a more engaging way to teach my 17 year old Sunday School class. I am a historyteacher in my worldly life and knew that there were better ways to teach than what the manual had to offer but was feeling stretched to my mental limits trying to adapt my professional training to my spiritual side. I happened upon your lesson plan for How I can learn to see Heavenly Father's hand in all things? Thank you for sharing your ideas, especially during such a physically and emotionally hard time in your life. I loved your interactive ideas and have "stolen" a couple of them and adapted them for my own class. Then I read your blog and about your battle with cancer. I love your honesty and realism. Cancer sucks. I hope that your fight was successful and that treatments went well for you. I am thankful for your willingness to not only share teaching ideas with strangers but your trial and testimony as well.

Thank you so much for sharing all your teaching ideas - they are great! I'm a seasoned teacher but I stand humbly in your shadow. Thank you for willingly giving up your time to share your talents in this blog. It is a gift to so many of us - and our students. I hope all is well for you now.

I want to thank you SOOOO much for posting the Sunday school lesson on "why is learning an important part of Heavenly Fathers plan?" I have been diligently praying and searching and even fasted asking for help with this. I have never taught a lesson in any organization, and I quickly realized that this is completely different than a 10 minute talk in sacrament! In fact, this is the 14 and up kids that the previous teacher has been having some problems out of. I knew I needed to keep them active in the lesson but being creative is unfortunetly not one of my talents, so you answered my prayers thru our amazing Heavenly Father!

There is no words to express how thankful I am for finding you guys! I am teaching the 14 and 15 class and have no teaching background at all, so I was desperate looking for a way to help me teach the gospel and engage them. Your lessons have been so, so great! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
