Dylan insists upon wearing the collars on his collared shirts up, like in the eighties. I asked him why, and he says, "That's why [a.k.a. "because"] that's how vampires wear their collars." Not sure where he got that idea. Here he is, posing "like a vampire":

Thiller, the vampire characters had their collars up. Maybe it's just something that everyone innately feels about vampires. Like how everyone innately feels that everyone in heaven wears white. That kind of a deal.
Maybe you should call him Edward.

I'm very impressed that your little guy is so up on fashion trends in the monster world. After watching Twilight about 8 billion times, my kidlets are all convinced that vampires only wear Gucci and Armani.
ReplyDeleteI think you are right. It is just one of those "vampire" qualities that are just assumed.
ReplyDeleteIts because Dracula, and old school "original" vampires always wore the cloaks with the high collars...it wasn't the collars of their shirts, and also, it was sort of the trend back in the day. Who knew that the 80s got style from somewhere else? WHOA. Any way, that is way cute, and Dylan really is a little trend now!
