We had a fun Family Home Evening last week - in anticipation of Christmas, we decided to have a lesson on Samuel the Lamanite. Per my Family Home Evening manual's suggestion, I made little costumes for my kids and had them "act out" what happens in the story. Dylan was Samuel. He loved his costume. He's standing on some ottomons that we have, which were our "wall":
Sadie played the part of a believing Nephite, though she was more interested in perusing the Children's Songbook CD booklet. She loves books:
And Ben was an unbelieving Nephite, a part he played with relish. He shot little suction cup bullets at Dylan, purposely missing, because Samuel couldn't be hit with the Nephites' arrows:
Then, after Dylan was done with his part, he jumped off the backside of the "wall" and fled, just like Samuel.

What a fun FH E. I am totally impressed!
How awesome! I love that you are able to do FHE, we are just lucky to have the kids see Ryan in the evenings from time to time! Most of the time we do ours on the weekend if we get to it, we should be better at it.
