They sang the cutest song. Their teacher, Miss V, adapted it from the song, "New York, New York." It goes something like this:
Start spreading the news
We're leaving today,
We wanna be a part of it!
First grade, first grade!
I tried to upload the video, and of course, Blogger is being a brat about it. My videography was very shaky, anyways. I was in an awkward position, trying to tape it without parents behind me getting pissed.
The kids, showing their parents their certificates:
Dylan, up close and personal:
Here's the craziest thing - Ben's new boss's kid was in Dylan's class! His name is Anders:
Look at those cute freckles. And here is Anders with his mommy (I can't remember her name) and his sister, Antienne:
What is it with all of Ben's bosses having kids with really unique names? With his old boss, you may or may not remember that his two kids were named Rylick and Rillian. And now with Anders and Antienne. Ben's boss's wife is really nice. Heck, Ben's boss is really nice. We're thrilled to have Ben in a job that he enjoys.
There was a little after-ceremony party in the classroom, and I snapped this really awful picture of Dylan and Miss V. I'm such a bad photographer...
Miss V was a fantastic teacher. It's such a miracle - Dylan entered Kindergarten not knowing how to read, and now - he can! Amazing!

I think Graduation for kids so young is silly, too, but I know when my kids get to that point I'll eat it up! LOL That's great that Dylan did so well in Kindergartin!! Good luck in first grade!:)
you said the word little 5 times in the first paragraph, haha. once in another paragraph, so 6 littles. i don't know why but i thought that was funny. :)
There were a couple of kids in Jake's class that are going to have to repeat Kindergarten; I wonder if they let them participate in the "ceremony" anyway? Hmm. Oh, and Jake's class totally sang the "New York New York" song, too! How funny!
Wow! Dlyan is going to be in 1st grade. Time goes by so fast. Dino Mountain is at the Wild Animal Park, it is a summer thing.
Congrats Dylan! I love the way he wears his cap ballanced on the side of his cute little noggin. Very stylish!
Erin sang that exact song at her kindergarten graduation. It was too cute! Congrats to Dylan on his graduation!
