1945??

Ben is renovating our basement, and he pulled down some old sheetrock the other day, exposing the cement wall, and this is what we found, imprinted into the cement:

It's an imprint of an old license plate from 1945!! I knew our house was old, but I figured mid-fifties, not mid-forties! The imprint was a very cool surprise.

So... my computers hard drive crashed and I have been with out a computer for over a week! They have been trying to save anything they can from it (which wasn't much) So I was without blog for 7days! I had a lot to catch up with on yours... Cool license plate. It has been a horrible spring, really windy down here also. And I think all kids are whimps when they first start playing sports....keep at it...it gets better. (whew did I cover it all? Ha!) Looks like you are having fun and keeping busy, as usual.

I think that it is cool. It is so interesting how so many lives are intertwined in such different ways. I just think that it is funny to think about the person that did that, and what they were thinking at the time, and where they've gone and what they've done and if they are still alive, etc.

By the way, I love your new title and picture. It makes more sense than the old one. It's a little more boring and a little less unique...but I still like it.
