Here is a picture of me and my little man, ready to head home. It took FOREVER to check out. All of that paperwork to fill out, blah blah blah... It took forever! But now I wish I was still there!
our last check out was pretty fast, but the other times it has taken ages. that's always frustrating, and by the time it's time to go, the baby is usually ready to eat of have a diaper change. sigh. :)
Why does it take so long to check out? I have had the same discharge nurse for all 3 of my kids and she takes an eternity. Then again, why are we always in such a hurry to get back home? Because after we are home we always wish we were still at the hospital with a nurse to take our babies when we want to sleep. :)
Are things getting better with Micah? When is Dylan's party? How did it all turn out? I know what you mean about the hospital. I love my time, even though I get woken up at night by nurses. It still is more relaxing than at home. Plus the minute you step in the door back home the other kids think "oh good, mom's home" and need a million things that they think only you can get for them. How come having a baby is like a little vacation? That is so wrong!!

I always enjoy the hospital stay. A little time away from house cleaning and kids!
He looks so little! You must love having him around now. Congrats!

Oh my goodness! He is just so cute! And yes, looking back, isn't that time in the hospital so special.
