I was all worried about how we were going to trim our trees that border the alley. Apparently, the city does that! They just showed up one day and did it. Whew. One less thing to worry about.
Jenny and I worked for the city mowing lawns at the cemetery during the summer and, in that time, I learned that city work ers are really good at taking coffee breaks. Like, three an hour. So I am really, really impressed that they were helpful to someone other than coffee shop waitresses in need of tips!
