Grapefruit with Salt

Dylan adores grapefruit. He usually eats one whole grapefruit, every morning. I've never known a kid who likes it:

That's old play-doh near his bowl, just in case you were wondering. :) Of course, I think the reason he likes grapefruit so much is that he generously coats it with sugar:

He calls sugar, "salt." I've told him a few times that it's sugar, honey, not salt. And he goes, oh, sugar. But then he forgets. He'll catch on eventually!

It's so funny that kids mix up words to things like that (Jakob calls numbers "ABCs" and vice versa). And the things they like to eat-Brock likes tomatoes, but Pete and I don't! Crazy.

I used to hate a lot of food as a kid. Now I love a lot of the things I used to hate. Go figure.

I think it's neat that Dylan likes grapefruit. You LOVED it, I think that you even liked it as a child as well.

you should someday give him salt to put on his grapefruit and see if he still mixes them up then! Ha, ha! I am such a toddler teaser. Wait. I'm just a teaser in general.
