Jake the Snake turned 6 a couple of weeks ago!
His new thing is Transformers, so Nat forayed into the world of fondant to make a Transformers cake:
I'm proud of her. I have not yet found the courage to try fondant.
Jake, like his brother Troy and most other little boys, opened his clothes presents and immediately dumped them on the floor, but the adults celebrated the clothes:
New clothes are always a cause for celebration. That's what I say.
Mom and Dad went straight from their camping trip to Nat and Pete's house, so their rented camper was in the front, and the kids had a LOT of fun playing in it:

lol LOVE the new title picture on the blog. The little man picking his nose is CLASSIC! lol and ya, Nat is definately more adventurous than I am with the cake thing.... the best my kids hope for is one made in a bunt pan :)
Absolutely love the picture on your blog! Love the Transformer cake too, way to go Nat for being brave and gettin it done! I am curious about fondant, but have not tried to do it myself yet!
Yeah, the fondant was easier than I thought it would be, though I really didn't delve into it that much. Maybe I'll get braver and braver with each cake.
