I would just like to say that, in the new picture header, I am not suffocating my child. I was holding a binkie in his mouth, but not paying close enough attention. My child is alive, I promise!
It totally doesn't look like you're suffocating him! Dude, in all our blessing pics Ivy looks like she's crying, but I think she was squinting. And the pic we sent out of Jakob as an email announcement (I've never bothered with "real" announcements) Jakob was yawning, so it looks like he's crying. If only pictures came with automatic disclaimers.

After I noticed how cute your family looks in the new picture I did notice the hand over the baby's face It looks like a normal mom pose.
